John is the founder of Foundational Planning Group. He has spent nearly 20 of his 27 years in the financial services industry assisting financial advisors help their clients identify and implement life insurance solutions. He is also the President of Colorado Brokerage Group, LLC – a independent wholesale financial services firm designed to provide access to multiple life insurance companies, design solutions, process and negotiate life insurance opportunities for thousands for clients.

Throughout his career he has worked very closely with wealth advisors to evaluate and develop life insurance solutions and then participated in the final presentation and implementation directly with the advisor and their clients achieving maximum results. As the business continues to evolve he has recognized a need for wealth advisors to be much more objective and transparent in their overall advise – to be a true fiduciary. To that end he created Foundational Planning Group and is well equipped to be a true business partner with advisors.

His expertise allows him to work with clients in the areas of Estate Planning, Long-Term Care Analysis, Business Planning and Supplemental Retirement design and analysis.

A native of Colorado, he is celebrating 31 years of marriage with his wonderful wife Theresa and has 2 beautiful daughters – Gianna and Gabbie. He enjoys being with his family and watching them grow and achieve. He appreciates the Colorado outdoors through skiing, golf and mountain biking.
